In addition to the already advanced capability to link MOTIF XS and MOTIF XS Editor mixing settings for multi-part editing, Audio Integration allows the MOTIF XS to function as a multi-timbre VST Instrument for Cubase 4. In this mode the MOTIF XS sound is handled via the VST Instrument channels and, as with other VST software tone generators, the audio cannot be recorded to other audio tracks. Data created using Audio Integration can be converted to audio after the composition is complete by exporting the tracks as an audio file: go to File menu >Export >Audio Mixdown, and export in real time. The following is an example of device and software settings that might be used when connected via IEEE1394. NOTE: Make sure that the IEEE1394 connection is properly established via the AI Driver (Connection Manager) beforehand.

I sampled and programmed on my Motif ES a total of 10 classical voices from DX7: 01-Tubular Bell 02-E.Piano 1 03-Harmonica 1 04-Harmonica 1-A 05-Brass 3 06-Brass 1 07-Flute 1 08-Voice 1 09-Strings 2 10-Bass 1 As a FM sounds’ lover, I was impressed with the results that I got so I decided to share my personal work with DX’s lovers on the Web. Here is the link on Yousendit (if needed rar password is jcr): Note: This file is in Motif ES format (all voices W7V) and can be loaded on Motif XS without any problem. The unziped file size is 145MB, so you will need a SD RAM Memory installed in your Motif.

Hi Julio I sure like DX7 voices. Back in the old motif classic days I used to have a plgin dx. Yes it is so very cool. I download your work now and will give it a run. This is really a great thing you offer to share. Total Posts: 572 Joined status: Guru Hi friends, thanks for your comments.

Zoueva, I use the Winrar to pack / unpack the files, please try it (it is freeware). Here some (Web*) information about the voices I sampled: 30 VOICE 1 - Another DX7 signature sound - the hollow digital voices. Useful as a pad and for many other purposes. 18 HARMONICA1 - This preset was used in a VERY FAMOUS hit song of the ‘80s: Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” and Michael McDonald in “Sweet Freedom”.

1 BRASS 1 - Classic ‘80 synth brass. 11 E.PIANO 1 - THE MOST FAMOUS PATCH OF THE ‘80s!!!!!!! Used by EVERYBODY, the fabled INT11 preset has become a standard sound (aka “FM piano” in all modern workstations, of all brands. It was manipulated in many ways, but the typical add-on was a wide chorus, to achieve that polished, professional sound. Mixed with a regular piano sound, it became the “L.A. Piano”, a standard for mid-80s ballads. Sade (E.Piano 1 preset used in “Smooth Operator'), Simply Red (E.Piano 1 preset used in “Holding Back the Years”, “Jericho”, “Come to My Aid”, “The Right Thing” and others) 15 BASS 1 - THE OTHER CLASSIC DX7 PATCH!!!!!!!

This bass was used as the MAIN BASS for SO MANY ‘80s productions. Listen back and you’ll spot it easily. Again, this patch now has become a standard (FM Bass) and lives in all modern synthesizer workstations, of any brand.

Download Font Apk Keren Untuk Android. Also used by A-HA (bass in “Take On Me” and “Touchy'). 26 TUB BELLS - Graceful tubular bells. Again, a sound that no other synthesis but FM at the time could reproduce. Found in Bon Jovi’s (Tubular Bells preset and string or harp patch in “Livin’ on a Prayer') and Madonna (bass and bells in “Spotlight”, bass in “Live To Tell” and “Crazy For You”, also used a lot on her 3rd album) 24 FLUTE 1 - Much was said about the realism of this patch, at the time. Today, it doesn’t stand out as such, but in 1983, especially if you used a breath controller, it didn’t get more real than this (unless you sold your car and bought on of the first samplers, such as the Emulator I) *Some information from Synthmania and Wikipedia sites.
